The darker colors in these pairings are very appealing to me. They are easy to blend and the pointy end makes it easier to apply on the lash line with a little bit of precision. If you apply it at an angle at all times, I expect that it will maintain it’s pointed end compared to using it pointed at a 90 degree angle will dull it right away. The lighter shade on the other hand appears differently on my hand. I applied it heavily to make the colors appear on my skin tone but on the eye it’s highly metallic, less color payoff. It is creamy when applied directly on the skin and blends out easily. I only wore it for 5 hours and it has faded a bit at this point. It didn’t crease or smudge which is a good thing. Maybe if the lighter shade were matte or satin compared to metallic I would have appreciated it much more. The darker shades reminded me of Laura Mercier’s Caviar Sticks however it falls short when it comes to the color quality. However, for the price, I would say this is a good choice for a one of those five minute faces.

At fine drugstores, $8.99 at Walgreens. Check your local drugstore as they usually have promos and discounts going on.
