I am all about anything nude and neutral (and taupe). So I am excited about this line. If you’re into red-toned balm-like products, I believe Fresh has that covered already. Nudes belong to Dior in my opinion.
According to Dior…
From the first application, lips are perfectly hydrated, plumped and smoothed, thanks to a formula containing a high concentration of active treatment ingredients.
Rouge Dior Nude is available in 10, new, warm or cool, blush-effect shades that add a transparent touch of warmth or coolness to the complexion. From beige to bronze and from greyish-beige to rosewood, they echo the nude coloured silhouettes of the latest Dior shows.
According to Sephora…
What it is:
A rich and creamy balm with a semi-sheer finish.
What it does:
This lip balm instantly hydrates, plumps, and smooths lips for a naturally elegant finish. Its treatment formula creates an illuminating blush effect for instant radiance.
I have two out of the 10. After wearing these two for almost two weeks, I am now seriously considering buying all of them. So for this post I am highlighting 459 Charnelle.
Packaging | Housed in a dark blue slightly rectangular tube. Product twists up revealing the word “Dior” embossed on the body of the lipstick.
Color and Texture | It is a pinkish beige that is more pink than beige. They are sheer but the color really shows off nicely on the lips. The formula is particularly creamy and hydrating. I really didn’t notice the plumping effect.
Availability | US$32 at Sephora, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue. I got mine at Nordstrom.
